Been a fan since: 1980. Grew up listening to the Police during my teen years and then became a huge admirer of Sting’s work when he went solo. I waited eagerly for each new album he released and listening to each one on repeat for months on end. Now I am busy collecting each album on vinyl!
Favourite Sting song: So many – favourites include ‘Bourbon Street’, ‘Shape of My Heart’, ‘Little Wing’ and ‘They Dance Alone’. My recent favourite is ‘Il Nostro Amore’ with Giordana Angi.
Favourite Police song: 'Tea in The Sahara'.
Favourite Sting album: 'Dream of the Blue Turtles'.
Favourite Police album: 'Synchronicity'.
Most memorable concert: So many! I have been lucky to see Sting 10 times! The first time with The Police in 1983, while on a student working holiday in Munich. The fabulous Synchronicity tour. The vibrant colours of the Yellow/Blue/Red jackets the 3 guys wore are still etched in my brain 41 years on! Followed by 2 concerts in London, 1 in North Carolina, 4 in Dublin, and just this week 1 in Cork and 1 in Belfast. Another special memory is the arrival onstage of the Chilean women dancing the Cueca, during ‘They Dance Alone’ circa 1988 in Wembley Arena. Very emotional. I share a photo from Belfast June 2024 with fellow Sting/Police fan Jane, also at the Munich concert in 1983. Our poster is a tribute to that epic Synchronicity album cover.

Over the years the Fan Club has held many exclusive events and amazing opportunities for its members. These have ranged from tickets for many different TV and radio performances to full concerts. Below are just some of the highlights...
At selected shows during the My Songs tour, members have had the opportunity to access some intimate SOUNDCHECK PARTIES and see Sting and his band rehearsing up close and personal. These amazing opportunities have taken place in London ON, Bridgeport CT, Virginia Beach VA, Budapest, Turin, Amsterdam, Scarborough, Paris, Warsaw, Parma, Krakow and Munich with further events planned in Denver CO, Concord CA and Irving TX.
Fan Club members were invited to an exclusive 57th & 9th ALBUM RELEASE PARTY CONCERT at New York's Irving Plaza in November 2016.
Twenty Fan Club members and their guests were invited to attend the OPENING NIGHT PERFORMANCE ON BROADWAY OF THE LAST SHIP at the Neil Simon Theatre in October 2014.
Well over a hundred Fan Club members were invited to attend a SPECIAL BIRTHDAY PERFORMANCE of The Last Ship material at New York's Public Theater on 2 October 2013.
Fan Club members were invited to attend some DEVELOPMENT PERFORMANCES OF THE LAST SHIP at the Live Theatre in Newcastle in February 2012.
Fan Club members were in attendance at Sting's all star SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION CONCERT at New York's Beacon Theatre in October 2011 which raised more than $7m for the Robin Hood charity.
Fan Club members were invited to a DRESS REHEARSAL CONCERT ahead of Sting's European Symphonicity Tour at the Apollo Theatre in New York in April 2011.
